Irish Composers' Collective November 2009 Concert

Hesse Student concert
A concert of classical and contemporary favourites performed by the first week Hesse students of the Aldeburgh Music Festival 2009. This year's concert includes the premiére of a short new work A-l-D-E-B-u-r-G-H by Dónal Rafferty written during the week for the Hesse students to perform.

KCL Stranded Ensemble Gala Concert
An evening of music composed by students from King's College London performed by the resident contemporary music ensemble. PhD student Ewan Campbell shall be conducting.
Dónal will have his string quartet Exponential (2007) performed at this concert. He will also participate as pianist with the ensemble in a performance of a new work by King's PhD student Christian Mason entitled Episodes in the Life of a Line.

A day dedicated to the performance of new music by composers from King's College London and The Universities of York, Durham and Manchester.
