… is the name of my new composition for the Penbridge Trio (violin, guitar and piano) and it is being premiered on Friday. The piece ended up being almost ten minutes in duration (!), which I know is quite long for a piece of ‘contemporary’ music, yet I think there’s enough dramatic variation in the work to keep the listener engaged. I’ve been rehearsing with the Martha, Andrew and Bryan this week and they’re doing a great job bringing the piece to life. More later.
